Creative Practitioner

CALL OUT FOR: Leicestershire Libraries Early Years Festival – October 2025

We are looking for Creative Practitioners with a speciality of working with the Early Years audience and their families, to run events in 8 libraries in October. 

Location: Libraries across Leicestershire

Budget: Leicestershire Library Service is committed to paying creative practitioners at industry rates in line with the Artist’s Union England.  Further information can be found at www.artistsunionengland.org.uk/rates-of-pay/.   In line with this, our total budget per library is up to £250, however there is a level of flexibility for activity that is bespoke, needs additional planning or that requires more than one practitioner.

CALL OUT FOR: CREATIVE FEEDBACK PROJECT

We are seeking a Creative Practitioner to plan, develop and lead creative activity that gathers local people’s views on our Museum and Library. We want the creative feedback to reach people who might not engage with traditional written or electronic surveys and to enable local people to open up and share their thoughts and feelings.

Location: Market Harborough Library and Harborough Museum, Symington Building, Adam and Eve Steet, Market Harborough, LE16 7LT

Project Delivery Timeframes: Various set dates between September 2025 and January 2026

Budget: £3500 total

Application Deadline: 7th September 2025, midnight
