Mel and Natalie met in 2019 both having recently moved to Cosby. They soon discovered that they shared a common interest in creativity and a strong desire to connect with others in their community. They started a craft club called Cosby Crafters where a group of people met fortnightly to chat, craft, share ideas and laugh!
Inspired by a flyer advertising a yarn bomb in another location they decided to put on their own in Cosby. The group were up for the challenge and Cosby Yarn Bomb was born! A collaborative community event that includes participants with all skills and abilities, and encourages members of the community to come together and create colourful scenes made of yarn around the village for all to enjoy.
