PRINCIPAL MANAGER – LIBRARIES 
Leicestershire Libraries are at the heart of our communities, providing information and advice, activities to improve wellbeing and develop skills, supporting those seeking employment and sharing a love of reading with people of all ages. We are looking an experienced, proactive and flexible Principal Manager to help lead the effective delivery of 16 County Council funded and 34 Community Managed Libraries, a Prison Library and a mobile library service.

Work Location: Wigston Library, Bull Head Street, Wigston, Leicestershire LE18 1PA

Worker Category: Hybrid Worker

Salary: £39,939 – £42,699 per annum (pro-rata for part-time)

Working Hours: 37 hours per week

Contract Type: Permanent

FREELANCE RESEARCHER 
We are looking for a Freelance Researcher to help shape our new cultural programme, Making Leicestershire My Home. This will involve using local, national and international resources but in particular, the collections of the Record Office for Leicestershire, Leicester and Rutland (ROLLR).

Team: CuL Senior Leadership Team

Location: Record Office for Leicestershire, Leicester and Rutland and home based

Project Delivery Timeframes:  Feb – March 2026

Commission Amount: £5000
