Creative Learning Services Librarian
Work Location: Creative Learning Services, Eastern Annexe, County Hall, Glenfield, Leicester, LE3 8SS
Salary: Grade 10 £34,350 – £37,950 per annum (pro rata for part-time)
Working Hours: 15 hours per week
Contract Type: Permanent

CALL OUT FOR: MOSAIC ARTIST – EARL SHILTON
We are excited to be seeking a Creative Practitioner to lead creative sessions which engage the community of Earl Shilton to create mosaic tiles for an outdoor sculpture. The theme for the tiles will be reading, the library, nature and Earl Shilton.
Location: Earl Shilton Library, Wood St, Earl Shilton, Leicester LE9 7NE
Project Delivery Timeframes: Min 8 x delivery sessions dates between August – November 2025
Please note: we understand due to the short notice, applicants may not have availability in August, please do still get in touch as dates are somewhat negotiable.
Budget: £2750. This does not include materials

CALL OUT FOR: 1620S HOUSE AND GARDEN CREATIVE PRACTITIONER IN RESIDENCY
Old House, New House – Building and Belonging: We are seeking a Creative Practitioner to plan, develop and lead creative activity with local people at the 1620’s House and Garden on the theme of building and belonging. This project will also align with 2025 Hello Heritage Festival architecture theme.

CALL OUT FOR: BROUGHTON ASTLEY LIBRARY EXHIBITION ‘TREE’ PROJECT CREATIVE PRACTITIONER
To create a tree-like structure within the library that will exhibit changing collections of artwork. We are open to different designs (2D or 3D) and materials, provided that the structure is robust enough to have longevity and display the intended artwork.

We are seeking a Creative Practitioner to plan, develop and lead creative activity that gathers local people’s views on our Museum and Library. We want the creative insight gathering to reach people who might not engage with traditional written or electronic surveys and to enable local people to open up and share their thoughts and feelings.
