Bosworth Battlefield terms and conditions for the prize draw

This prize draw is being run by Leicestershire County Council’s Participation Team. By entering this prize draw you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions.


Eligibility
The prize draw is open to all respondents of the ‘Bosworth Battlefield Heritage Centre and Country Park Survey’ who have stated they wish to enter in Q14. In entering the prize draw, you confirm that you are eligible to do so. This prize draw is free to enter.

All entries must be 16 or over to participate. All entries submitted after the closing date Friday 30th September 2022 will not be counted. Leicestershire County Council reserve the right to suspend the prize draw where necessary.

How to enter
To enter you must complete the Bosworth Battlefield Heritage Centre and Country Park Survey.

On the survey you will need to submit your name and contact number and/or email address and agree to be entered into the prize draw (question 14). One submission per person only.

Please ensure that you answer the survey as honestly as possible, to give us a true understanding of your thoughts, ideas and opinions. The prize will be drawn at random and is not based on your answers.

The Prize Draw
The prize will be a voucher worth £25 for a supermarket local to the winner (please note Leicestershire County Council’s use of such a prize does not imply an affiliation with, or endorsement of, the chosen supermarket).

The winner will be drawn at random and will be notified by Monday 10th October 2022.

The winner will be notified by email or telephone and will then need to provide a postal address. The winner will be notified twice and if they do not respond within 14 days of the second email/ phone call, then they will have forfeited the prize and another winner will be selected at random.

The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and is not redeemable for cash.

Data protection
You will only be entered in the prize draw if you agreed to do so under question14 of the questionnaire. Your contact details will be held in line with the GDPR and Data Protection Act of 2018.

General
Leicestershire County Council does not accept any liability for any damage, loss, or disappointment suffered by any entrants as a result of either participating in the prize draw or being selected for a prize, save that Leicestershire County Council does not exclude its liability for death or personal injury as a result of its own negligence.

The prize draw and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Leicestershire County Council reserve the right to suspend the prize draw where necessary to do so.
