Early Years Library Visit Pack

We want to encourage early years settings and professionals in the sector such as nurseries, pre-schools, childminders, and schools to visit the library. In partnership with Leicestershire Libraries, we are developing a self-led visit packs that will aid the setting in making the visit to the library as fun as possible for the children, as easy as possible for the educators, and as informative as possible for the parents and carers when their child comes home.

This pack will be co-created and piloted with a local pre-school in Coalville library, to ensure that the information is relevant, appropriate and works for the settings it’s aimed at. Once we have made any necessary adjustments, we will be rolling the packs out to the remaining 15 Leicestershire Council managed libraries in April 2023.
