Our Community Offer

Are you a community hub or group based in the Oadby and Wigston area? Discover how you can get involved!

Communities are the heart of our Culture to You project. Be part of this exciting offer that seeks to engage local people in Culture, using it as a catalyst to connect, inspire, enrich lives, and support wellbeing.

If you’re a community space or group, then we can provide a FREE bespoke offer that meets your need:

Art to You

We have access to a variety of high-quality contemporary artworks that have been collected and curated by Leicestershire County Council Museum Services for over 50 years. You can borrow a piece of high-quality contemporary artwork from our Museum Service for up to 6 months!

Activity to you

Our friendly team can deliver exciting cultural activities in your space, from art and crafts, creative writing to history and learning. Our object handling collection and artworks are at the heart of these.

Reminiscence to You

Feel nostalgic with our Memory Boxes. This multi-sensory opportunity explores themes such as childhood, seaside and the great outdoors. Each of our boxes include things to touch, smell, listen to and do. All our boxes include information on the activity/ object alongside questions which explore connection and encourages reminiscence. You can either borrow one of our boxes or our team can deliver a session.

Get Involved!

Culture to You is being piloted in the Oadby and Wigston area and is currently only available to partners who are based in, and work from, these areas.
