Woodland Stories

Join us in Pit Prop Woods and take part in creative activities
• Explore the woods and make a Journey Stick –a memento of your walk featuring items collected along the way (fallen items such as leaves, twigs, flowers, feathers, or anything else natural that you find)
• Search for trees with faces or make a clay face and stick it on a tree trunk
• At the end of your walk, enjoy a story in the woods with Tom the Tale Teller
• Discover more about Family Learning and how it can help you support your children

Duration: 1.5 hours

TO BOOK: please email lals.familylearning@leics.gov.uk with details of how many adults and children will be attending. The tutor will contact you to complete your enrolment for the event.

The Family Learning Team is part of Leicestershire Adult Learning Service and provide a wide range of learning opportunities for families throughout the year. They are community based and are all experienced tutors and learning experts who can support both children and parents.
