Creative Practitioners

Working with Culture Leicestershire has been a real privilege because they really invest in their artists and value your talent.

‐ Creative Practitioner

As an Arts Council National Portfolio Organisation (NPO)  Creative Practitioners are at the heart of our work with communities.

Who are Creative Practitioners (CP’s)?

These are experts such as artists, musicians, actors, writers, performers, creators, educators, museum curators, technicians, film makers, producers. In addition, CP’s also have wider skills to enable them to support and involve others such as workshop design and delivery, marketing and promotion, mentoring and training. CP’s might be a freelance individual or work as part of an organisation.

How do we work with Creative Practitioners?

We commission local artists to work alongside local people to co-produce creative outcomes. CP’s use  their creative practice to enliven and give greater impact, vibrancy and scope to what we can offer in our museums, libraries and cultural hubs across Leicestershire.
