How Bosworth Community Voice Works
Bosworth Community Voice is more than a consultation group. It offers a chance to step behind the scenes at Bosworth Battlefield Heritage Centre and play an active role in shaping what we do.
Members are invited to attend selected events and activities with complimentary access, allowing them to experience our offer first hand. Their insights help us plan future events and ensure they are enjoyable, accessible, and relevant. Taking part is relaxed and rewarding. Before each event, volunteers meet with the team to explore plans, share initial thoughts, and understand what to expect. This is also an opportunity to ask questions and discuss any support needs.
During the event or activity, volunteers take part in a way that feels natural to them. There is no set route or checklist. Instead, they engage as participants, noticing what captures attention, what creates memorable moments, and where improvements could be made. Everyone gathers feedback differently, so a range of approaches is encouraged. Volunteers can record their observations through notes, photographs, or other methods that suit them. After the event, volunteers come together for an informal discussion to share reflections and ideas. These conversations often lead to new ways of thinking and practical improvements.
Bosworth Community Voice offers a valuable opportunity to experience the Museum from a fresh perspective while helping shape its future.
