Wisdom comes from experience. Experience is often a result of lack of wisdom.
Discworld Series By Terry Pratchett
What is the book about?
A fantasy universe, that’s always about to end and anything that can happen always does
What was good about it?
I read it as a child and found it entertaining, as an adult I finally saw all the innuendoes and hidden swear words.
What didn’t you like? (if anything)
Not enough focus on Death and Mort storyline, and the sad early demise by dementia was sadly ironic for the hero of every story has to go.
Did it bring something positive to you?
It helped cement my love of reading, as before that I’d only read a Sci-Fi Novel but Disc world I read the whole set in 99. To date I’ve read everything they’ve written about him and added to his stories every interview and read everything Terry Pratchett ever wrote.
Would you recommend it to others? Why?
Yes as it’s a gem, sadly eclipsed by Harry potter/Lord of the Rings
