Library Accessibility Films – we’d love to hear your views!

During recent project work with SEND children and adults with learning disabilities, Culture Leicestershire has identified the need for accessibility films at five of our library sites.

The purpose of the films is to show visitors what to expect during their visit and is specific to each library site environment.

We believe these films will help neurodivergent audiences and those with anxiety disorders and will also aid the general public as a source of information before planning a first trip to a Leicestershire library site.

We have recently created our first film at Wigston Library, in partnership with a professional filmmaker, starring LALS students based at the library and children from a local Primary school.

We would value your feedback about the film, which we will use to embed our learning before we progress to developing the next films. Please take a look at the Wigston Library film above before following the link or using the QR code to take you to our short survey.

Thank you for your time!
