The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown

Men go to far greater lengths to avoid what they fear than to obtain what they desire.

History is always written by the winners. When two cultures clash, the loser is obliterated, and the winner writes the history books-books which glorify their own cause and disparage the conquered foe. As Napoleon once said, 'What is history, but a fable agreed upon?

Faith ― acceptance of which we imagine to be true, that which we cannot prove.

‐ Dan Brown, The Da Vinci Code

This was the book that inspired me to read again in my twenties. I could not put the book down as every page drew me deeper into the characters and their world of mystery, drama and adventure. The book helped me reuse my imagination and put myself into their feelings, locations and puzzles solving situations. The book was made into a Hollywood movie but it could not compare with my own imagination of the world and characters I had recreated in my head. I would recommend this book to everyone, Dan Brown also has many other great books in his collection which are equally as good.
